Blackpowder matches are held on the farm of Richard Phelps off SR 92 (Montpelier Road), 150 Alvin Willis Road.

Directions: Take SR 55 south about 5 miles, turn left on SR 92 and go only 0.1 miles turning left on Keen Wilson Road. Go about 1 mile and turn left on Alvin Willis Road. CAUTION: Keen Wilson ends in Russell Creek one-half mile past Alvin Willis Road. DO NOT TRY TO CROSS UNLESS IT IS VERY DRY!!!

Shoots will be held rain or shine. Both percussion cap and flintlock weapons are welcome.

Shooters may gather at the log cabin for the days shooting event. Usually food and fellowship follow the shooting events.
